School Reopening / Safety Plans
Return To School Guidelines
- Positive COVID test with symptoms: Student may return to school once 10 days have passed since symptoms appeared AND the student does not have a fever without the help of medication and symptoms have improved.
- Positive COVID test without symptoms: Student may return to school once 10 days have passed since the positive test AND no symptoms have developed OR student has had 2 negative tests within 24 hours.
- Exposure to someone with COVID but student hasn’t tested positive: Student may return to school after 14 days if he or she has not tested positive or developed any symptoms.
- NonCOVID related illness: Student may return to school with a note from a Doctor indicating that it is safe for the child to return to school AND the illness was not COVID.
